Being a leader is a challenge onto itself. Trying to find time to effectively do our "day job" and manage employees (that are possibly working off site) adds a whole new complicated layer. The carryover is that we are still there to set the employee up to succeed, giving them all of the tools, processes, resources and support they need. One of those critical tools is Time Management, or as we call it in this session, Self Management.
As much as you probably want to, you cannot buy time. Which totally stinks. You also cannot clone yourself (yet). So what can you do about time? We’re here to help you. Your time is a finite currency that you undoubtedly want to spend wisely. My guess is that you don’t feel that you are spending yours wisely. Guessing that is how you ended up here… ;-)
Even though you might have tried tons of Time Management tricks and tools in the past, you should ask yourself, “Why haven’t they worked?” This mini-training is totally focused on getting you in the right Mindset about Time. We want to provide a couple of foundational, proven Time Management Tools that WILL work, IF you DO the work. So how is this training going to be different for you? It won’t be. Unless you commit. If you are seriously looking to make a change in your world, don’t just watch, take a few notes and move on with your day. Take a hard look at your current schedule. What are you spending your time on? Where is your time going? What are your main priorities in life? Do your activities/time reflect that?
In this training we encourage you to focus on your time at work (although we hope you will also look at your out-of-work time) and then pay it forward by coaching your staff on these tools. We believe you will find out some interesting things about your time and hopefully start to understand how valuable it is.
